Give us This Day our Daily Bread
Today I was reminded of why Jesus teaches us to pray: “Give us this day our daily bread.” My kids were asking to “do something fun” today, but the only thing I had planned was laundry. Amid my kids’ disappointment, I decided to practice slowing down and listening to the Still Small Voice (instead of my own emotions) for what was needed.
