Living in the will of God - a twofold process of faith and trust
As I was coursing the aisles of Walmart a couple weeks ago with my kids, my son piped up and asked if we could get some granola bars. A simple request. Give us This Day our Daily Bread
Today I was reminded of why Jesus teaches us to pray: “Give us this day our daily bread.” My kids were asking to “do something fun” today, but the only thing I had planned was laundry. Amid my kids’ disappointment, I decided to practice slowing down and listening to the Still Small Voice (instead of my own emotions) for what was needed. In this moment of pause, I felt led to get out the Hotwheels tracks. Yes, God will lead us in such small things as this.
